Experience

Jennifer Borsoni is a Howard County, Maryland native. She graduated from Mt. Hebron High School in Ellicott City, Maryland. After earning a bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, from Gettysburg College in Gettysburg Pennsylvania, Jennifer Borsoni attended The Catholic University of America, The Columbus School of Law in Washington, DC. During law school, she was active in the Federalist Society and interned for The Honorable Russel F. Cannon of the DC Superior Court. It was during this internship that she developed her strong legal research and writing skills that she has continued to perfect throughout her fifteen-plus-year legal career.

After graduating from CUA Law and being admitted to the Maryland Bar, a Maryland native, Jennifer Borsoni returned to Maryland to begin her career with the Law Offices of James L. Mayer, PA. She left the Law Offices of James L. Mayer, PA to pursue her interests in real estate law working for Hickory Ridge Title Corporation, Fountain Head Title Company, and Muzzatti and Associates, LLC. In 2016, she returned to her roots at the Law Offices of James L. Mayer, PA where she strongly focused on developing client relations and finding the most effective and cost-friendly solution for her clients. Her practice focuses primarily in the areas of business formation and advice and consultation with business owners, real estate, contract drafting and review, and estate planning. After James Mayer decided to transition into retirement in 2021, she and Teresa Cooney formed Borsoni & Cooney, LLC to continue the legacy of James L. Mayer, P.A, and to continue providing quality legal services to our old and new clients.

Attorney Borsoni serves as pro bono counsel for QG Community Charities, Inc., trading as Bourbon and Bowties, a Maryland non-profit corporation supporting local charities throughout Maryland. Jennifer Borsoni is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association and the Anne Arundel Bar Association. She resides in Anne Arundel County with her husband and two children. In her free time, you can find her on a lacrosse or soccer field cheering on her children.
